With January (officially the most depressing
month of the year) well and truely over, it's time to look ahead to
what is certain to be a great year for Dayglo Fishermen. Unfortunately
for fans, most of this greatness will be behind the scenes as the band
work feverously on their new album, scheduled for release in early 2006.
But don't despair. There are two pieces of very good
news that should keep fans happy until the arrival of the new album,
and both will allow fans to enjoy the Dayglo Fishermen experience on
the move.
Firstly, in a few months time a WAP site will come
online finally allowing fans to download classic Dayglo Fishermen songs
direct to their MP3 compatible mobile phones. As with the main website,
all music downloads will be free of charge. Exciting indeed!
Secondly,
a brand new Dayglo Fishermen video game is in production, specially
adapted to play only on Java enabled mobile phones. Soon the unique
experience of a Dayglo Fishermen video game will be available anywhere.
What a fantastic prospect! The game will not be available until April,
but to give you a taste of what to expect here's a sample image from
the game's pre-production version. Cool! |
