And so it goes on...
Despite long periods of geographical isolation, the members of Dayglo Fishermen continue to drive forward the production of the band's new album. It's been over three months since the band were together in Cozmic Studios, but the creative process still continues with incredible momentum.
Cocooned in Dayglo Fishermen's new South London facility, Mammoth Studios, Peter has now completed the synthesiser and drum tracks for seven of the new album's songs, and is well on the way to completing the eighth. He has devised a distinctive style for the album which has been well received by the rest of the band.
At Cozmic Studios, Richard had been writing and rehearsing the guitar lines for the new songs. With daily access to the band's primary facility he has had the chance to fine tune each and every nuance of his performance to a degree never possible on previous albums. When the time to record eventually comes there's no doubt that Richard will put in his some of finest performances ever.
Despite attending only one recording session so far for the new album, Ginny is far from idle. In the secure tranquillity of her Buckinghamshire residence she has been perfecting more of the magical and often haunting vocal melodies that she's famous for. It's just a matter of time before those melodies find their way into Cozmic Studio's digital domain.
And last but not least, Sean has been making many late night contributions from his base in north east England. His regular supply of chord progressions and his thoughts on arrangement and style have been utilised by Peter on several of the new tracks.
